As the co-creative head of DDB Mumbai and Ahmedabad until mid-2020, Ashish used to oversee an integrated creative department with over 100 creatives – copywriters, art directors, digital designers and technologists.
Over the last decade, he’s worked closely with Rahul Mathew and Sonal Dabral
to grow DDB Mudra into a creative force that notched 2019’s top honours like
Kyoorius Agency of the Year, a silver at Campaign Brief’s Creative Agency of the Year,
second place at Effies, and glory at some of the biggest award shows like Cannes,
D&AD, One Show, Spikes Asia and Adstar.
He’s been involved in creating work for most of DDB’s biggest brands like Hotstar,
Stayfree, McDonald’s, Union Bank of India, Sony IPL, Lipton,
Walls, and fbb among others.
Ashish has nearly 20 years of experience, with stints at Ogilvy and Publicis before joining DDB in 2010. And now, he has teamed up with his most-successful collaborator from DDB, Rajiv Sabnis, to start BRAVE – an agency that believes in brave new ideas to give brands the edge.
Ashish has recently fulfilled his long term dream of writing a TV series, which he’s in
the process of pitching to studios.
